Job Title: Electrical & Automation Installer (BMS Project)

Location: Kotka, Finland
Employment Type: Contract

Project Overview

The project involves the physical installation of PLC control systems, sensor networks, and complex cabling infrastructures within an industrial or commercial environment.

Scope of Work

The successful candidates will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Hardware Installation: Installation of PLC control cabinets and various field sensors.

  • Cabling & Networking: Routing and pulling communication cables, Ethernet (network) cables, and Fiber Optic cables.

  • Containment Systems: Precise installation of aluminum or galvanized steel conduits for all cable routing.

  • System Integration: Ensuring all physical layers of the automation network are installed according to technical drawings and local standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

1. Certifications (Mandatory for Finland)

To comply with Finnish site regulations, workers must possess:

  • Valtti Card (Veronumero/Tax number registered).

  • Occupational Safety Card (Työturvallisuuskortti).

  • Lift driver Certificate (Working at heights).

  • Hot Work Permit (Tulityökortti), if applicable to the installation method.

  • Electrical License: At least one member of each working team must hold a Finnish-recognized electrical qualification (Sähköpätevyys).

2. Technical Experience

  • Proven experience in Industrial Automation or Network Infrastructure installations.

  • Strong Mechanical/Fitter skills (specifically for bending and installing metal conduits).

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and PID diagrams.

3. Language Skills

Candidates must be proficient in at least one of the following:

  • English

  • Finnish

  • Chinese (Mandarin)

  • Safety-First Mindset: Strict adherence to Finnish site safety protocols.

  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a multilingual technical team.
