FTTH Technician Swap

We’re hiring FTTH Technicians (contract) for fiber swap and installation projects in Western Germany. Are you open to contract-based field roles in telecom? Freshers are Welcome

  • Education- Diploma/Degree in Telecom, Electronics, IT, or related field (freshers welcome).

  • Experience - 1-2 years or Fresher with Relevant degree can apply

About the Role

An FTTH technician swap involves replacing, rotating, or reallocating technicians who install, maintain, or troubleshoot fiber-optic networks connecting homes or businesses. This ensures continuous service coverage, skill optimization, and timely response to network issues.

Responsibilities

• Coordination and scheduling of customer onsite support depending on the associated PoP

• Delivery/or shipment and swap of the ONT at the customer's premises

• Coordination and scheduling of customer onsite support depending on the associated PoP

•Delivery and installation of the GF-TA

• Cutting the existing connection and splicing of two fibres between House delivery point (Hausübergabepunkt (HÜP) and passive customer termination point (GF-TA) including all necessary measurements (OTDR)

• Delivery and swap of the ONT at the customer's premises

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Telecom, Electronics, IT, or related field (freshers welcome).

• Willingness to learn fiber optic installation, splicing, and CPE handling.

• Basic knowledge of networking and telecommunications is a plus.

• Good coordination, communication, and customer service skills.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license is a plus but not mandatory.

• Ability to travel to customer sites.
